Spaghetti Recipe!!

Masih inget kan kalau aq selama Spring break numpang di rumah mentorku?

Disini alhamdulillah makananya jauh lebih enak dari pada cafetaria di dorm.

*aq nggak berani bilang kalo makananya cafetaria nggak enak, cz masak sendiri aja males jadi musti disukuri niy kalo ada yang mau masakkin, kalo protes kesannya nggak tau diri hahahaha…*

Dan hari ini menu lunchnya adalah spaghetti! Horray!!

Kenapa aq seneng banget?! One big reason, spaghettinya Ibu mentorku tuh mak nyuuss… Enak gila deh… Mo yang meatless or pake meat.

Berhubung aq nggak bisa masak, well, tepatnya males masak… Aq cuma ngeliatin aja pas beliau masak hahahaha… Dan karena Ibu mentor baik hati, ramah, dan tidak sombong, aq dikasih resepnya. Kata dy, “Siapa tauuu… kamu nanti mo masak spaghetti seperti ini pas di Indonesia..” Sambil tersenyum.

Hahahahaha… merasa tertohok niy.

Karena ada kemungkinan aq tetep males masak ketika kembali ke Indonesia *sorry dorri morri yah Mas🙂, aq ke US kan bukan untuk belajar masak hehehehe… :p*. Jadi resepnya aq bagi disini, siapa tahu ada yang pingin mencari resep spaghetti yang berbeda *yah mudah-mudahan berbeda*, or ada yang pingin bikin spaghetti ala Ibu mentorku hehehehe…

Nanti kalau udah mateng bagi-bagi yah…😀

SPAGHETTI
¾ cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 of one pound cans tomatoes or 4 fresh-cooked tomatoes, cut up
2 of 6 ounce cans tomatoes pasta
2 cups of water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 ½ teaspoon pepper
1 ½ teaspoon of dried oregano, crushed
1 bay leaf
Italian meatballs
Hot cooked spaghetti
Cook onion and garlic in oil till tender but not brown. Stir in next 8 ingredients. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes, remove bay leaf. Add meatballs. Loosely cover and cook 30 minutes. Serve over spaghetti. Pass parmesan cheese. Serve 8.

Italian meatballs
Soak 4 bread slice in ½ cup water 2 to 3 minutes, add 2 eggs and mix well. Mix with 1 pound ground beef, ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoons snipped parsley, 1 teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon dried oregano, crushed, and dash pepper.
With wet hand, form meat mixture into small balls (about 24). Brown slowly in 2 tablespoon hot salad oil. Add meatballs to sauce, simmer loosely covered for 30 minutes as directed for spaghetti and meatballs. Make 8 servings.

Note: Satu lagi, hari ini adalah hari ke 52 sebelum balik ke Indonesia!
